Meet The Team

Virla is the CEO of the way to justice. She has dedicated her life to social justice work. She has over 20 years of experience in the Spokane community.   

Camerina Zorrozua is the Co-Founder and Legal Director at The Way To Justice. Camerina is a Chicana activist and attorney born and raised in Eastern Washington. She attended Gonzaga Law School and was admitted to practice in 2005.

Arian’s entire legal career has been dedicated to public service and civil rights. For over two decades he has practiced criminal law serving both as Prosecutor and Defense. In addition, Arian has defended the civil rights of All ensuring equality for all. He now focuses on juvenile rights and working with lifers and their families to prepare for successful reentry into our community.

Josiah is a licensed attorney dedicated to providing legal services to those seeking to put their past in the past. He received his bachelor’s degree at Gonzaga University in 2016, then served as an AmeriCorps member prior to enrolling at Gonzaga University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in 2020. Josiah has been a part of The Way to Justice since 2021.

Erica has been with TWTJ since it has opened. She is passionate about her community and enjoys cooking and spending time with family.

Alondra is a Gonzaga University Alumni. She enjoys traveling and trying new cuisine. 

Jakiia is an Eastern Washington University alumni. She enjoys taking trips out the country. 

Nat is an  undergraduate business student at Gonzaga University hoping to attend law school and become an attorney.  Nat enjoy's skateboarding, playing sports, and camping!

Adalayda is a Gonzaga University undergrad majoring in Accounting with a minor in Solidarity and Social Justice. Adalayda enjoy's watching sports and going on hikes.

Caleb is a Senior at Eastern Washington University. He is Majoring in Criminology. After graduation he hopes to attend law school. 

Leah is a Legal Intern through the Gonzaga Wolff fellowship. Leah is in her senior year at Gonzaga University majoring in Sociology and Criminology.

Elizabeth enjoys traveling and learning about new cultures.
